Cub Scouts is a year-round program that offers fun activities that promote character and leadership development. Our program is designed to be hands-on, and parents are encouraged to play an active role in our programs.
Scouting embraces the outdoors through camping, hiking and water sports. We also focus on helping our communities through service projects, STEM development, and building confident kids through our wide range of activities.
The Cub Scout program in Lafayette, CO is designed to develop physical, mental and emotional fitness. Fitness includes the body (well-tuned and healthy), the mind (able to think and solve problems), and the emotions (self-control, courage, and self-respect).

How Cub Scouts Works
How Cub Scouts Works
DENS: Kids are grouped together in similar school grades to form six dens. Our dens meet 1-2 times a month through the school year and has volunteer Den Leaders (one or more parents) who organize the activities that follow cub scout requirements. The goal is to advance to the next den level in the spring.
Kindergarten - Lion
1st Grade - Tiger
2nd Grade - Wolf
3rd Grade - Bear
4th Grade - Webelos
5th Grade - Arrow of Light
Packs: All the dens combine to make the pack.
Our pack meets around once a month. Pack activities are family oriented with parents and siblings encouraged to attend. We also have around 2 campouts for families, a Pinewood Derby, and other fun activities.
